Course Offer for bachelor's students

Bachelor students will either follow one module (regular programme) or minor (electives) per quartile.\ A module/minor is a package of 15 ECTS consisting of several courses and a project. You need to register for the module/minor as a whole, it's not possible to dropp individual courses within a module/minor, even if you've already completed a course at your home university.\ It takes one quartile (10 weeks) to finish one module/minor. On this page, you can read about how our educational system is structured.

Once nominated you need to have completed 1 year of study ( 60 ECTS) at your home university by the time you start your application for an exchange semester at the UT.

Per semester, there are three options that you can choose from:\ (please know that the offer for coming semester might not be available in our course catalogue yet. Then select the current academic year)

  1. Choose two bachelor's modules per semester

A module is a package within a regular bachelor's programme where you address a current theme from society or business. You will engage in theoretical courses and practical work, design solutions by working individually, and participating in teamwork.\ \ You may choose a maximum of one module at another faculty not covered by the exchange agreement with your home university.

A HTHT ('High Tech Human Touch') minor is an elective package outside the regular study programme with multidisciplinary approach. You will work together with students and staff of various disciplines from different faculties.

Besides taking only modules or only minors, you can also combine these options.

Course Offer for master's students

As a master's student, you can choose from two options:

  1. Single master's courses

You can choose separate courses varying between 1 and 10 ECTS. The vast majority of courses have a study load of 5 ECTS. You have to choose a minimum of 60% of the courses within 1 faculty, covered by the exchange agreement with your home university.
