# DesignLab University of Twente

DesignLab is an eco-system facilitating creative collaboration and knowledge transfer between researchers, societal organisations, students, and citizens. We value plural perspectives and expertise from individuals as well as organisations – nurturing collaborative projects that transcend disciplinary and professional domains.\

In our ecosystem anyone can become an agent of change. Our activities are shaped by the theme of [**Responsible Futuring**](https://www.utwente.nl/en/designlab/responsible-futuring/) – a unique approach towards science-based innovation to design ethically for society. We put Responsible Futuring into practise by fostering [**Transdisciplinary Innovation**](https://www.utwente.nl/en/designlab/projects-overview/)**,** [**Citizen Science**](https://www.utwente.nl/en/designlab/citizen-science/)**, Educational Innovation** using the **Responsible Innovation Network.** The societal domains we are currently focusing on comprise: **Health Innovation**, **Digital Society** and **Climate Resilience**.
