Do you want to take your English-language academic writing to the next level by making stronger links between pieces of information in sentences, paragraphs, and throughout your essay?

In this two-hour workshop you will learn how to analyse devices that create cohesion and flow in a published paper in your field, and how to use the same devices in your own writing. As a result, this part of the writing process will become less stressful.

## Content

- How to maintain flow throughout a text
- How to guide the reader
- How to transition between paragraphs
- How to use linking words and phrases

## Duration and time investment

One workshop of two hours. You will have to bring a printed copy of a published article from your field and a sample of your own academic writing to analyse during the workshop.
