**Our spaces are designed to trigger innovative thinking, stimulate collaboration, have fun, embrace multiple perspectives and make futures tangible. See how our multi-purpose rooms are utilised for education, research, (business) projects, and the ever-so-necessary brain relaxation.**

Personal projects
Do you want to use the laser cutter, 3D printer or other tools and machines for a personal project? Good news: we regurarly host a Makers Night and DesignLab University courses to make this possible. [Keep an eye on the agenda](https://www.utwente.nl/en/designlab/events/) for the next dates and sign up.
During regular opening hours, both workshops are only used for projects that are research or education related.

- fabrics, cutting tools, pinning tools, pattern-making tools
- two Pfaff home sewing machines that can **be used by everyone**
- Husqvarna Viking sewing machine that you can use after **Sewing 1** workshop
- a heavy-duty Juki industrial sewing machine for which **Sewing 1 & 2 are required**
