Do you want to develop a method for approaching writing assignments, or build on what you already do to remove stumbling blocks for your reader?

In this 2 hour workshop you will gain insight into your own process and make sense of typical problems, as well as develop efficient and effective solutions to make the overall experience of academic writing less stressful.

## Content

- The academic writing process
- The different types of writers
- How to pre-write and plan your text
- How to avoid writer’s block
- The purpose of a rough draft
- The differences between revising and editing
- Useful strategies for editing

## Duration and time investment

One 2 hour workshop plus approximately 30 mins of preparation work.

## Language

The language of instruction is English, but course content is suitable for writing in any langauge.
