# Koshland Hall

Koshland Hall is located on the Northwest corner of campus ([map](https://www.berkeley.edu/map/koshland-hall/)) next to  and houses labs from the Department of [Molecular & Cell Biology](http://mcb.berkeley.edu) (MCB) and the [Department of Plant & Microbial Biology](http://pmb.berkeley.edu/) (PMB).  It was originally named the Genetics & Plant Biology Building, but was renamed Koshland Hall after MCB Professor [Daniel Koshland](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daniel_Koshland).
