## Apply for financial aid by March 2
Complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) or California Dream Act Application to be considered for federal, state, UC, and Berkeley-specific scholarships, grants, loans, and work-study.

## Scholarships
Admitted students are automatically considered for [scholarships](https://financialaid.berkeley.edu/undergraduates/types_berkunderscholarship.htm). International students are not eligible for federal financial aid or institutional aid managed by the Financial Aid and Scholarships Office at UC Berkeley. However, the Financial Aid and Scholarships Office website provides information about other options:

By answering a few questions, the Cal-culator presents an estimated financial aid award for prospective full-time undergraduate students, including any Berkeley Middle Class Access Plan (MCAP) award for which you may be eligible.
