# Updated Box user interface coming Thursday, June 10th

On Thursday June 10th, we will be enabling the “New UI” in our Box instance. This is a significantly refreshed version of the Box user interface, but it should still be largely familiar to Box users.

The major new feature of this release is called “Collections.” Box explains:

“Collections enables you to create and name private groupings of content in your Box account, where you can organize files and folders that you own or share. Although the content may be shared, your collections are not shared and are visible only to you.”
