High Impact Programs

The name NERDS stands for New Experiences for Research and Diversity in Science. Our students came up with the acronym to unify our community.\

Through our programs, students have the option to weave their academic and professional development together through our high-impact learning practices. We provide hands-on experiences which may include field trips, coding and data science training, high-level industry mentors, faculty mentored research, high tech company tours, travel to research conferences, professional clothes grants, graduate school planning and visits, LinkedIn coaching, and much more. Our current program offerings are listed below.
