American Cultures Breadth Requirements (AMCULT)

The following is a list of California community college courses approved for transfer to UC Berkeley that will fulfill the AC requirement. Students who successfully complete one of these courses with a C- (P) or better either during or after the term listed will fulfill their American Cultures graduation requirement.

Please note:

1.If you passed one of these courses before the term listed, then you did NOT satisfy the American Cultures requirement.

2. If you have passed one of these courses during or after the term listed, but your student records do not indicate that you have fulfilled the AC requirement, please contact the Central Evaluation Unit by opening a case with Cal Student Central.

3. You *must* enroll in the community college offering the course. For example, you must enroll in Berkeley City College for History 7B to receive AC credit. Enrolling in History 7B at another Peralta College will not yield AC credit.
