### **Welcome to BAES: your exciting European journey**

The **Una Europa Joint Bachelor of Arts in European Studies (BAES)** is an innovative and unique joint degree, created in collaboration by nine [**Una Europa**](https://www.una-europa.eu/) partner universities. Universidad Complutense de Madrid is one of the **four institutions awarding this degree**, alongside KU Leuven (Belgium), Alma Mater Studiorum Università di Bologna (Italy) and Uniwersytet Jagiellonski w Krakowie (Poland).

This **three-year** bachelor’s programme (180 ECTS) delves into the **core principles and** **values of the European Union** as well as the diverse states and societies within Europe. Employing a **multidisciplinary approach**, it explores Europe’s role on the global stage and equips students with **research** **skills** to analyze critical European issues. Through an **extensive mobility programme**, students not only acquire knowledge about Europe but also immerse themselves in an international environment, fostering personal growth.
