# Selection by Lot

The allocation of places is usually completed before the start of the lecture period in the relevant semester. Any places still remaining at that time are allocated by lot, and anyone who is interested can take part provided that they hold a university entrance qualification. **Selection by lot is not a standard admission quota!** You can apply for selection by lot online via the Student Registry.

The application is only available for the first semester in undergraduate programs.**Only successful candidates will be notified** after the end of the selection process

.If you do not obtain admission by May 15 for the summer semester or by November 15 for the winter semester, this means that you did not receive a place through the selection by lot.
