Dr. Julia Mink is a junior professor for environmental economics, sustainability and inequality at the University of Bonn and holds an Argelander professorship. She conducts research at the interface between environmental and health economics, using huge data sets that she analyzes using econometric methods. The researcher is particularly interested in examining inequalities.

Becoming more sustainable and fair

Should we have stricter environmental laws or are we already doing enough? This is the question that preoccupies Argelander-Professor Dr. Julia Mink. She is currently researching the costs of air pollution for the health system. She will soon turn to new questions - and again it will be one at the interface between the environment, sustainability and inequality.

Different perspectives

Julia Mink is just as at home in environmental research as she is in health economics. She understands how to look at climate change from different perspectives and in different situations, as well as nutrition and agriculture. In order to analyse the world in a transdisciplinary way, she works with researchers around the world, currently mainly with colleagues in Berkeley and Paris.
