By providing comprehensive services for our researchers, we create the conditions necessary to facilitate excellent research and develop innovative ideas. The Division for Research and Innovation Services supports and advises researchers throughout the application process, from the initial project idea to the administration of third-party funding. The Transdisciplinary Research Areas (TRAs) support researchers in developing innovative ideas across faculties and subjects, and actively contribute to the networking of our researchers.

The Research Data Service Center supports our scientists throughout the entire research process - from planning research projects to publication and archiving.

Research Infrastructure and Core Facilities

Core facilities offer our researchers access to highly specialized infrastructure and state-of-the-art technologies. By pooling resources and enabling interdisciplinary collaboration, they increase the innovative strength of our research beyond the boundaries of subject and faculty, and thus, contribute to excellent quality. The Commission for Technology and Innovation advises the Rectorate on the establishment of research infrastructures and the development of a university-wide core facility strategy.bei.
