The University of Bonn offers over 200 full and partial degree programs in all manner of different subjects. Besides bachelor’s and master’s programs, students can also choose degrees in theologies and degree programs culminating in the state examination. The various combination models available for bachelor’s degree programs give students extensive options for their own subject specialisms, while the nuanced selection of master’s degree programs offers an excellent opportunity for in-depth academic study and specialization.

The University is well-known for its research-focused degree programs, which open students’ eyes to the world beyond pure academia and both support and challenge them. Many of the researchers working and teaching in Bonn are among the best in their field, while many departments enjoy a leading position compared to their counterparts in other countries. “Be strong!”, the first structured study support program to be offered at the University of Bonn, launches in winter semester 2025/26.
