The International Guesthouse located in the borough of Endenich is a modern and inviting residential building where researchers from all over the world can meet - which may soon become your "home away from home".

Apartments

Types

The International Guesthouse has six apartment types to choose from:

A: 1-room apartments
B: 1-room apartments with sunroom
C: Large 1-room apartments
D: Duplex apartments
E: 2-room apartments with sleeping and living rooms
F: 2-room apartment

Basic features

All apartments are furnished and have the following basic features:

Kitchenette including refrigerator and stove (microwave depending on the apartment)
Basic kitchen utensils, crocery and cutlery
Modern bathroom with shower and lavatory
(Kitchen) Towels are available for a small price
Bed or sleeper (depending on apartment type, see overview)
Bedding and bed linen
Desk, chair, armchair, wardrobe and shelves
Internet connection (WLAN)

Please take note of the following information:

The International Guesthouse is a facility for international postdocs, lecturers and professors

There is a housemanager as a contact person on site to assist you with any issues.
There is a parking garage (for cars and bikes), availability upon request
Washing machines and dryers are available for a small price.
Cleaning fee and deposit charged before arrival.

Reservations

The International Guesthouse is operated by Studierendenwerk Bonn and utilized exclusively by the University of Bonn. Reservations therefore have to be made via the University of Bonn Welcome Center for International Researchers. The rental contract is not concluded with the University, however, but rather with Studierendenwerk Bonn.

You can easily make a reservation request online. Please read the rental terms and conditions and the sample rental agreement beforehand.

Please also note:

Regardless of the actual move-in or move-out date, full calendar months are charged.
The minimum rental period is one month, the maximum twelve months.
An extension of the rental period above twelve months is not possible!
The cancellation period for rental contracts is one month, and possible up to the 3rd working day of the month for the end of the same month.

Location

The International Guesthouse is located along the edge of a natural reserve in the borough of Endenich, which has a variety of shops and restaurants as well as a lively cultural scene with a cinema and improvisational theatre and a concert venue within walking distance.

Also within walking distance are Endenich Campus, the Argelander Institute of Astronomy and the Max Planck Institute for Radio Astronomy. The Poppelsdorf Campus and the City Campus are easily reachable as well by bus and bicycle.
