The Santander Grants offer international doctoral students a unique opportunity to come to Bonn for several months and conduct research here. At the same time, they also enable host institutes in Bonn to benefit from international expertise and establish or deepen research collaborations. We spoke with Santander scholarship holder Kow Ahor Essel-Yorke from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana, about his experiences during a three-month research stay at the Department of Geography at the University of Bonn.
