MDGI Awards - Application Forms
Henry Koopmans Memorial Entrance Scholarship
This award is available to students entering either the MSc or PhD graduate program each year.
The application form and Terms of Reference are below. Please read the instructions carefully as incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
Dr. Joseph Davison Travel Award
Applications due: February 15 each year
Eligibility:\ Presenting original research at a conference or workshop relevant to the student’s program. The award will not support travel for attendance at regular annual meetings (e.g. Digestive Disease Week (DDW) or Canadian Digestive Diseases Week (CDDW) conferences).
MDGI Travel Awards
Travel Awards are announced throughout the year by the Graduate Program Administrator. Check your ucalgary.ca email address often for these announcements.
To submit an application, fill in the Travel Award Form and attach your abstract. Email applications to gimgrad@ucalgary.ca

MDGI - Other Funding Opportunities
MDGI Graduate Student Support
MDGI has some program funding available that will be allocated to students each year. The awards will take into consideration the student's grade point average (GPA), research achievements, progress in program, and the entire amount of financial support received. No action is required from students.
