The University of Calgary – Office of Continuing Medical Education and Professional Development is fully accredited by the Committee on Accreditation of Canadian Medical Schools (CACMS).

For registration questions, please contact the Registration Office, cmereg@ucalgary.ca. \ Questions relating to program content may be directed to the Course Coordinator listed.


Register Online

The Office of CME & PD uses the Destiny One Registration System.

Registration is online only. The Office of CME&PD will no longer be accepting cheque or fax registrations.

How do I retrieve my Destiny One password?

If you lose or forget your Destiny One password, you can reset it...

  1. On the course registration page, click the Register Now button
  2. Enter your 8-digit UCID.
  3. Click Forgot Password. Instructions for resetting your password will be sent to your email address.

If for any reason the above process does not work, please email it@ucalgary.ca and identify yourself as a CME&PD student.

How do I retrieve my Username?

  1. On the course registration page, click the Register Now button
  2. Click Forgot Username
  3. Please enter the email address that you indicated as preferred in your account information below. Your user name will be sent to this email address.

Registration Confirmation

On-line registration confirmation is automatic after registering online.

Registration Deadlines

Registration deadlines will be clearly stated on the event webpage. After this deadline, registrations will not be accepted.

Please refer to the refund policy stated on your Registration Confirmation that was emailed to you upon registration. To withdraw from a course, please email cmereg@ucalgary.ca

Course Cancellation Policy

The Office of Continuing Medical Education and Professional Development reserves the right to cancel the course if there are insufficient registrations.

Privacy Policy

FREEDOM OF INFORMATION AND PROTECTION OF PRIVACY ACT

Registration information is collected under the authority of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. The contact information you provide is required by our Office to register you in the course, prepare material and courses for your use, plan for future courses and notify you of similar, upcoming courses offered by our Office. Financial information is used to process applicable fees and is retained for future reference. Please email cmereg@ucalgary.ca if you have questions regarding the collection or use of this information.

Accommodation

Registrants must make their own accommodation arrangements.

For courses held at the MacEwan Conference & Events Centre (Main Campus) or at the Health Sciences Centre (Foothills Campus), we recommend:

ECME Registration for Online Self-Learning Courses

  1. Self-registration

Create an ECME e-Learning Profile or login to an existing profile. Once logged in, go to 'e-Learning Courses' from the main menu. Find the course you wish to take in the course listing, then select the most appropriate version for your profession ie. Physician, Other Health Care Professional, First Responder, etc..  After submitting your registration, you will be directed to start the course. 2. Working at your own pace

You may leave and return to your course at any time. When you login again, click on 'RESUME LEARNING'. It will bring you back to where you left off.

Dress

Dress is business casual. Sweaters or items of clothing that can be layered are recommended since temperatures in the venue may fluctuate.

Meal Requests

In general, each in-person course offers a light breakfast, nutrition break(s) and lunch. We are unable to guarantee accommodation for special dietary restrictions (for example, gluten free, peanut allergies).

To ensure the comfort of everyone attending this event, we ask you to not wear scented products.
