The Microscopy and Imaging Facility (MIF) is a world-class facility providing electron and fluorescence microscopy imaging equipment and advanced image analysis capabilities to University researchers and external users. Located at the Cumming School of Medicine, our facility strives to be an efficient and reliable shared resource that drives research and innovation within basic, medical and industrial studies. The MIF is operated on a fee-for-service basis and is staffed by professionals who can provide consultation and assistance with equipment use, training, experimental design and image interpretation.

## Virtual imaging services

As part of our response to COVID-19, we are now offering the option of virtual services to both internal and external users. Specimens can be mailed to our facility, and imaging/analysis can be completed remotely through video conferencing.
