Accreditation Steering Committee
Role: The UMEASC oversees and provides direction on all aspects of the preparation for the Committee on Accreditation of Canadian Medical Schools (CACMS) accreditation survey visit, that is scheduled every 8 years. UMEASC will also oversee the interim review process, between each external review, and the ongoing CQI initiatives. It is the final approval body for all issues relating to decisions required in the planning and documentation process.

Independent Student Analysis Sub-Committee
Role: Students have the sole responsibility for producing the ISA report. The ISA process involves the administration of a prescribed questionnaire and culminates in a written report that describes the analysis and results of student responses.
