Leave of Absence

Students must apply for a Leave of Absence (LOA) if they wish to take a break from their studies. Students  should read the LOA policy and then can submit a Leave of Absence form.

Funding Implications / Options for Leave of Absence (Including Parental Leave)

Our office is unable to advise on funding implications for Leave of Absences (LOAs). Here are some sites that students and supervisors may find useful when considering a leave, but please note that it is ultimately a student's responsibility to determine what funding they are eligible for and how supplemental funding may impact other benefits or funding sources:
