The Centre for Health Informatics houses various research teams like the CRU, Real World Evidence Consortium (RWEC), Alberta Strategy for Patient-Oriented Research (SPOR) Unit, Data Intelligence for Health Lab (DIH), Precision Health Initiative, SeroTracker and the Statistics Canada (STATs Can) Research Data Centre (RDC). CHI fosters interdisciplinary collaborations for cutting-edge new projects by providing a space for conversation and socialization.
