- Expand capacity to train medical learners in distributed sites throughout southern Alberta

## Enabling world class discovery science, translational and health outcomes research

- Increase capacity for making game-changing discoveries that drive to health impacts
- Create the environment to develop and test innovative precision health approaches
- Foster transdisciplinary research

## Commitment to Indigenous Health Dialogue

**Implementation highlights**​

- Hosted first annual Decolonizing Health Care Congress​
- Engagement with community on Indigenous curriculum development through Pathways to Healing Circle​
- Progress on plans to build capacity ​in Indigenous faculty and research​
- CSM leadership participation ​in traditional events including Bison Harvest

## Striving for social justice through action on health equity

- Improve health outcomes for all
- Develop equity, diversity, inclusion, accessibility, and anti-racism (EDIA-AR) initiatives to create sense of belonging for all
- Commitment to improve Black health, innovation, advancement and recognition of Black excellence
- Promote understanding of planetary health and its interconnectedness with human health outcomes
- Support inclusive faculty development at all career stages while building capacity to influence strategic systems change, advance equity, break down silos, and expand collective impact
- Enhance community engagement, partnerships, and policy advocacy in furtherance of our signed institutional commitments

## Transforming health through​ a learning health system

our new strategic plan detailing our six priorities for the future.  \

As implementation of the plan gains momentum,\
we want your input on how you see yourself in its implementation and your ideas for strengthening our plan moving forward.\
\
We’ve said from the start that the plan is iterative and we expect the plan to evolve to make improvements to it along the journey over time. Let’s do this together.
