## Values

- **Quality**:Delivering the highest quality facilities and research outcomes to advance QU research and serve external customers.
- **Ethics**:Maintaining the highest professional standards and ethical research practices.

## Objectives

The main objective of QU-BRC is to provide the infrastructure, support, and collaborative arrangements for sustained biomedical research that:

- Improves early diagnosis, treatment, and prevention as well as services, behaviors and outcomes related to key Metabolic disorder disease (cardiovascular diseases, including type 2 diabetes, obesity and Cancer) in Qatar/region while forging close collaboration with relevant research centers in Qatar (HMC, QBRI, SIDRA, Aspetar and QBB).

- Reduces infectious disease transmission in communities and hospitals and enhance Public health in Qatar in collaboration with MOPH and HMC.

- Advances research on drug discovery, development and analysis.
