Admission and Enrollment Queries

If you have any questions about admission or enrollment services at QU, please feel free to reach out to us at onestop@qu.edu.qa. Alternatively, you can visit our offices at the Student Affairs Building (I11). For female students, dedicated services are available in Room C250, while male students can find assistance in Room C204.

Update Contact Information (Mobile, Personal E-mail, Address)

  1. Go to Self-Service System (myBanner)
  2. Click on “Enter Secure Area”
  3. Enter your login and password
  4. Click on " Personal Information"
  5. Click on " Personal Student Information"
  6. Update your information if needed.

Update Personal Information (Full Name Arabic and English, Nationality, Date of Birth, Place of Birth)

You can Visit Enrolment Services One-Stop Section to update your personal information at Qatar University along with the original and a copy of your passport and QID

Request To Whom it May Concern Letter for Admission ( Bachelor Degree )

  1. Go to "To Whom it May Concern Letter" page
  2. Fill your personal information
  3. Select required document type and details
  4. Select delivery method
  5. Click on "Submit"
  6. After filling the application, you will receive a confirmation email on your student email account.

Request Transcripts for Current Students

You can find all required information regarding requesting official printed transcript or online transcript students official documents requests webpage.

Official Document Withdrawal (Bachelor Degree)

You can send your request to withdraw your official document, such as your transcript, to onestop@qu.edu.qa email, and the concerned section will contact you once the document is ready to receive.

Request Official Documents for Alumni

  1. Go to Request Official Documents for Alumni
  2. Fill your personal information
  3. Select required document type and details
  4. Select delivery method
  5. Click on "Submit"
  6. After filling the application, you will receive a confirmation email on your student email account.

Request official Documents for inactive students and non-QU applicants

  1. Go to Request Official Documents for inactive students
  2. Fill your personal information
  3. Select required document type and details
  4. Select delivery method
  5. Click on "Submit"
  6. After filling the application, you will receive a confirmation email on your student email account.

Official Graduation Documents (Bachelor Degree)

  1. Before receiving your graduation documents, such as your transcript and graduation certificate, you must complete the clearance request via MyBanner self-services.
  2. To pick up your graduation documents, please visit our offices at the Student Affairs Building (I11). We have dedicated services for female students in Room C250, and for male students in Room C204.

  2. Click on “Enter Secure Area”
  3. Enter your login and password
  4. Click on “Student Services”
  5. Click on “Clearance system”
  6. Click on “Apply for Clearance”

Enrollment Services

Request To Whom It May Concern Letter for current students

  1. Go to Self-Service System (myBanner)
  2. Click on “Student Registration and Records”
  3. Click on “Student Registration”
  4. Click on “Request Enrollment Verification”
  5. Select the term, verification type, and the number of copies
  6. Select the delivery method
  7. Click continue to fill the address info.
  8. Click on “Submit Request” to submit the request

Student Course Registration and Add/drop

All necessary information regarding registering in courses, add/drop, and related timeline can be found at the student course registration webpage

Withdrawal requests

All important information about requesting to withdraw from a course, term or from the university are illustrated in the withdrawal webpage

Applying for Reinstatement

You can find all reinstatement related information in the reinstatement webpage.

View types of Holds

  1. Go to Self-Service System (myBanner)
  2. Click on “Enter Secure Area”
  3. Enter your login and password
  4. Click on “Student Records”
  5. Click on “View Holds” to see hold types

Applying for change of major and minor (online through banner)

Course Capacity Override

You can find override request guidance in the override guide page. In admission to the override request form

Apply for Grade Appeal

  1. Go to Self-Service System (myBanner)
  2. Click on “Enter Secure Area”
  3. Enter your login and password
  4. Click on " Student Records"
  5. Click on " Grade Appeal"
  6. Click on " Apply for Grade Appeal”
  7. Select the term and click submit
  8. Choose the required course
  9. Choose the expected grade
  10. Write comment
  11. Choose save
  12. Attached any supporting documents
  13. Click "Submit Application"

Academic Dismissal Appeal Application

  1. Go to Self-Service System (myBanner)
  2. Click on “Enter Secure Area”
  3. Enter your login and password
  4. Click on " Student Records"
  5. Click on “Academic Dismissal Appeal Application"
  6. Select the reason to apply for this application
  7. Click on “Next”
  8. Click on “Submit Application”
  9. After filling the application, you will receive a confirmation email on your student email account.
