Final Exams Dates

Final exams dates according to Class/Lecture timings

General Instructions

1. All exams shall be conducted in the classrooms in which instruction has taken place. Faculty must book classrooms in coordination with the Schedules Section.
2. In the case of a large number of students, the exam shall be conducted in the same fashion in which tests one and two were done, or the course instructor may book one or more adjacent classrooms in coordination with the Schedules Section. Such exam venues must be announced to students two weeks prior to the exam date.
3. Exams of practical courses shall take place at the time and venue of classes, during the last week of instruction before the date on which the written exam shall be conducted.
4. If a course is taught on Monday and Wednesday and any other day, the final exam shall take place at the specified time, on Monday or Wednesday.
5. The schedules section will send colleges the dates, times, and rooms of their final exams two weeks after the beginning of classes, based on Table 1 below.

7. Changes to the timing of the exam resulting from combining several groups of the same course should be in accordance with the following criteria:

8. Having the approval of the respective department.
9. Groups of male students will not be added to female ones.
10. Academic Departments are to announce the courses they wish to combine, and the schedules section will provide the exam date/time in a manner that minimizes exam conflicts for students
11. In case of conflict with a course that is predetermined by Table 1, the department must take appropriate action to help the students.

Final Exam Overlap Policy & Procedure

Policy

If a student has three examinations on the same day or two examinations at the same time, he has the right to change the date/time of one of these exams.

Procedure:

1. The student sends an email to the Schedules Section.
2. The Schedules Section checks for any conflicts for the student.
3. The Schedules Section forwards the email to the respective college.
4. The college contacts the student to set up a make-up exam.
5. The student will take the make-up exam at the newly scheduled time.
