No, students need to apply for “Admission Scholarship” then the committee will nominate the eligible students for it.

Yes, the undergraduate admission application includes the Scholarships/Sponsorships application.

Students need to contact the Ministry of Education and Higher Education directly.

### [How can I apply for the “Amiri Diwan Scholarship”?](#collapse5 "How can I apply for the “Amiri Diwan Scholarship”?")

The student should contact and apply directly at the “Amiri Diwan”. Then, the candidate student will receive the decision for this scholarship from the Scholarships and International Admissions Section through the University email.

Yes, the international student needs to apply for “International Students Scholarship” then the committee will nominate the eligible students for it.

No, this is according to Qatar University Scholarships policies.

No, the scholarship does not need any of these certificates, but the scholarships committee may highly consider them as a selection criteria’s.

Yes, applying, competing and obtaining the scholarship needs the student to be accepted in the university and registered for courses in the same term applied for the scholarship.

Yes, only for Talent Scholarship and H.H. the Emir of Qatar's Scholarships for the Academic Excellence starting from Fall 2022 and after.

No, the paid fee for the online admission application is not refundable.

The scholarships offered by the university would cover all the bachelor majors.

The only Scholarship available for the graduate level the “Diploma Programs” from the College of Education.

## Questions to the students obtained a Scholarship

Yes, the scholarship covers the summer courses. However, the summer courses are not counted from the total courses covered by the scholarship as the total scholarship courses covers only Fall and Spring terms.

Contact [Student Financial Aid Section](https://www.qu.edu.qa/en-us/students/student-life/student-services/financial-aid/ "Student Financial Aid Section") directly.

Yes, student is responsible to pay all penalty fees, as it is not covered by the scholarship.

### [I am a Qatar university student who has a scholarship, and I am planning to transfer to another major by next term, does the scholarship covers the new major terms or I need to re-apply for the scholarship again?](#collapse18 "I am a Qatar university student who has a scholarship, and I am planning to transfer to another major by next term, does the scholarship covers the new major terms or I need to re-apply for the scholarship again?")

When a student transfer to another major, the scholarship will be extended through the system to cover the new major terms without the need to contact the section to apply for extension.

### [I am a student in College of Medicine and have a Scholarship and the grades for this semester (fall or spring) will be shown in my transcript at the beginning of the summer term, will I get a scholarship warning in this term?](#collapse19 "I am a student in College of Medicine and have a Scholarship and the grades for this semester (fall or spring) will be shown in my transcript at the beginning of the summer term, will I get a scholarship warning in this term?")

Yes, you will receive a warning for this term, and you must cancel the warning by sending an email to the section directly when the subject's grade is monitored. If you already have the first scholarship warning, then your scholarship will not be canceled until you receive the final grade of this course officially.

To apply to this aid, the student has to contact the
