Welcome!
Our major role is to support the institutional mission by creating an environment and providing programs and services that foster student success, learning and development.
Academic Advising Center
The Academic Advising Center provides advising, guidance and academic resources to all students enrolled at Qatar University. The Center assigns an academic advisor to each student to ensure students are provided with the proper guidance and support since the beginning of their academic journey.
Career Development Center
The Career Development Center provides counseling, training and professional development services and helps to prepare students to engage and compete for the best career opportunities. It is providing QU students with part-time jobs within campus through the Student Employment Section, during their study at QU.
Student Learning Support Center
The Student Learning Support Center (SLSC) provides comprehensive academic support services to all undergraduate students at Qatar University. The SLSC has a nurturing environment where students can seek assistance with academic coursework, writing and language assignments, transitioning to college life, and many other academic aspects.
Student Counseling Center
The Center provides guided consultancy and psychological intervention through the provision of therapeutic and preventive services. The therapeutic services include individual and group counseling sessions. The preventive services include psychoeducation through workshops and various events.
Inclusion and Special Needs Support Center
The Center welcomes students with physical, visual and hearing impairments, learning disabilities, health impairment and psychological disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, brain and neurological injures and provides them with the necessary support and services. The Center works on raising awareness about the issues related to special needs students and coordinate with local community institutions to integrate services provided for them.
