BRC is considered to be the capital investment of QU in the area of biomedical science and the embodiment of the QU commitment towards “Population Health and Wellness”.
QU-BRC is established to improve Qatar Health by focusing on; research, training, and service in applied and basic biomedical research within three major areas:
- Metabolic Diseases
- Communicable Diseases
QU-BRC strategy is demonstrated by working internally closely with colleges and different research centers. Also, networking with the local research centers and institutes i.e.; (HMC, WCMC, Sidra, QBRI, QCRC, and MOPH).
QU-BRCcompetitive advantage is its diversified academic and training programs, 30 years of rich academic experience plus reputable academic history, high quality of basic-moderate facilities, and vast manpower of qualified well trained personnel and students.
QU-BRC and partners share the vision of improving biomedical research profile to reach a world-class level by providing specialized core facility and funds compatible with research capacity.
We are determined to put our center on the map in a place that scientists and researches throughout the world recognize QU-BRC as biomedical research power house, and that QU-BRC foster an innovative research environment to establish reputation of excellence in biomedical research.
QU-BRC most special and competitive elements are:
