Student Financial Aid is one of the student services offered by Qatar University to its undergraduate students who encounter financial difficulties in covering their education-related expenses. This service provides a range of Financial Aid packages designed to support students’ access and success at Qatar University according to their financial needs and academic status:
- Monthly Financial Aid.
- Emergency Aid.
- Full or Partial Transportation Fees Aid.
- Full or Partial Tuition Fees Aid.
- Full or Partial QU Housing Fees Aid.
- External Funding Financial Aid Programs in cooperation with some external institutions and charities.
Mission
To provide financial support to students allowing them to access and be successful in their pursuit of academic and personal growth through higher education at Qatar University.
Important Dates
Application Period – Spring 2026
Please pay careful attention to the online application periods for the requested financial aid service. There will be no reception of any application, through the system, after the end of the working time, at 02:30 pm, of the last day for each specified application period.
| 18 January - 29 January 2026 | The application period for Financial Aid Programs financed by External institutions as follow: Jassim and Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation (Rewards and Support Student Programs), NAMA (Tamkeen Program), Afif Charity (Siraj Program). |
| 18 January - 12 February 2026 | The application period for Monthly Aid, Transportation Fees Aid, Tuition and Housing Fees Aids financed by QU, Emergency Aid, and receive the required documents for Monthly Salary for students who got QU Sponsorship Programs or Scholarships with monthly salary benefit. |
Financial Aid Committee - Spring 2026
| 11 February 2026 | The First Financial Aid Committee Meeting (Review the Monthly Aid and Transportation Fees Aid Applications received until 29-1-2026) |
| 26 February 2026 | The Second Financial Aid Committee Meeting (Review the Monthly Aid and Transportation Fees Aid Applications received during the period from 30-1-2026 to 12-2-2026) |
| 5 March 2026 | The Third Financial Aid Committee Meeting (Review the Tuition Fees Aid and Housing Fees Aid, and Transportation Fees Aid Applications for Non-Qatari Students without scholarship) |
| 8 April 2026 | The Fourth Financial Aid Committee Meeting (Review the Tuition Fees Payment Deferral applications) |
Other Important Dates - Spring 2026
| End of each month | The monthly financial aids and Monthly Salaries for eligible students will be deposited into their bank accounts. |
