Join one of the students clubs and organizations at Qatar University to participate in several leadership and empowerment opportunities within the diverse groups and programs that encourage you to succeed. The Students’ Clubs and Organizations Section assists students to engage in student life, qualifies them to work in groups where a stimulating work environment prevails and encourages creativity and innovation, to develop skills and talents, that refine the student personality and provide them with educational and cultural experiences, which help them establish new friendships with their classmates.

Establish a Student Club or Organization
Do you have a new idea, talent, or initiative that you would like to promote in collaboration with your classmates?
You can apply to establish a new student club or organizationand obtain official recognition from the Student Activities Department while taking advantage of the benefits, privileges, and support opportunities that Qatar University provides to you to achieve your goals.
Participate in a Student Club or Organization
We invite you to become a member of any student club or organization that matches your interests and goals, as membership for any student club or organization is open throughout the year to all full-time QU students. You have the opportunity to become a member of more than one student club or organization provided that you meet the membership requirements, policies, and procedures for any of them.
Students Clubs and Organizations Leadership Team
Any student club or organization is run by a leadership team consisting of university students who are selected or elected by the official members of the student club or organization. There are number of requirements and specifications for the student who wishes to join this team.
The Charter of the Student Club or Organization
The charter of the student club or organization is one of the most important references and tools that help the leadership team in managing the operations of the student club or organization in an organized and professional manner. The constitution consists of a set of laws and rules that the leadership team and members must abide by. The charter includes the formal organizational structure of the leadership team and is considered a major requirement for the acknowledgement of any student club or organization at Qatar University.
Student Club and Organization Advisor
The club or student organization advisor assistsand guides the leadership team to achieve the goals of the club or organization and to manage relationships with members and partners in a more professional manner. It is also recommended to select the advisor so that he has the experience and interest in the framework of the club or organization. The advisor can be a faculty member or administrative staff at Qatar University, or he can be a member of another institution that has a partnership agreement with Qatar University and is consistent with the goals of the student club or organization. The leadership team should strive to nominate an appropriate advisor who has the interest, experience, and time to devote to supporting the mission and goals of the club.
Student Clubs and Organizations Events
Clubs and student organizations can organize activities and events that are consistent with their goals through early planning and working collectively to ensure the success of the activity and the achievement of the desired goals. Students can use the template for planning guidelines for a successful event.

The Annual Student Clubs and Organizations Forum
The annual Student Clubs and Organizations Forum contributes to promoting a culture of engagement in student life through organized groups with specific goals that express the aspirations and interests of students. The forum provides an environment rich in ideas and creative student initiatives in the Qatar University student community and encourages the recruitment of new members to the various student clubs and organizations through the participation of club members in their achievements and success stories. The forum also contributes to strengthening and maintaining the partnerships of clubs within the university campus and the Qatari community.
