Thank you for your interest in the Short-Term Exchange
Program at the University of Tsukuba! \
Based on the exchange agreements, we accept short-term
exchange students from our partner institutions all over the
world. To apply for the program, please check the following
information and contact an exchange coordinator of your home
institution. All applicants need to be nominated by their
home institution officially.\

## How to Apply
\
#### Step1. Online Nomination (by Exchange Coordinator)
(1) Submit a request for a user code for the online application system via [Forms](https://forms.office.com/pages/responsepage.aspx?id=_V1bnp1m-E6yQEIpy_SoPQCQCtPNfB5Oh6qhaXMED7BUM0lOOFJGMzU4UlVYT01UVVZZUDI0QjdSTiQlQCN0PWcu&route=shorturl) .\
(2) Receive an email with user code and UTOS information (this may take a few days).\
(3) Log in to the [online application
system for coordinators](https://ap-short-term.sec.tsukuba.ac.jp/coordinators) and register coordinator information.\
(4) Provide the UTOS information to your students (without this, students cannot access UTOS, which is required for document submission).\
(5) Enter student information in the system and complete the nomination process.\
(6) Once the submitted information is reviewed and approved, you will receive an email, and you can invite the student to the application system.\
\*UTOS information is not provided with students directly.

#### Step2. Online Application (by Student)
(1) Once you are invited by your coordinator, you will receive an email with your ID number and password.\
(2) Log in to the [Online application system for students](https://ap-short-term.sec.tsukuba.ac.jp/), enter your information, upload the required documents, and submit your application.

#### Step3. Document Submission (by UTOS\*¹)
After students completed
the online application, students must submit
the
[necessary documents](#anchor2)
via UTOS\*¹ by the deadline.\
If you have not received the UTOS information, please contact your coordinator.
