Grade Viewing by Parents or Guardians (Undergraduate Student Only)
The University of Tsukuba has been providing academic performance notifications to Parents or Guardians via mailed report cards during the spring and fall semesters, allowing Parents or Guardians to confirm their children's academic progress. However, starting with the fall semester of the 2025 academic year, we will transition to an online system (TWINS) for accessing academic performance information.
- For Parents or Guardians accounts of students enrolled prior to the 2025 academic year, registration is based on information from the Spring Semester of the 2025 academic year. If changes are needed, students themselves must submit a change request via Microsoft Forms. Notification was sent via the Academic Affairs System's notification feature on February 13.
- For students enrolled in April 2026 or later, notifications regarding this operational change were sent to students via the Academic Affairs System's notification feature starting in late April. Notifications stated that if there are changes to Parents or Guardians information, students themselves must submit a change request via Microsoft Forms. The estimated time when Parents or Guardians will be able to view information is mid-June, when Spring Semester Module A grades are released. The start date for this operation will be notified to the email address registered in the Parents or Guardians information.
- Each student is assigned one account.
- Students who lose their status as enrolled students at this university due to graduation, withdrawal, etc., will no longer be able to use TWINS.
* Regarding Fall Semester 2025 Grade Notification (Mailed)
Notifications regarding the above operational change have been mailed starting February 20th.\ For sixth-year College of Medicine students, whose graduation date is March 10th, the online grade viewing period may be insufficient. Therefore, grade notifications will be mailed to them, as was done for the Spring Semester.\ Grade notifications will not be mailed to students other than sixth-year College of Medicine students. Please check your grades online.

Regarding the Publication Period
2025 Academic Year Publication Period: March 5, 2026, 2:00 PM ~ March 27, 2026, 5:00 PM
2026 Academic Year Publication Period: After June 12th, 2026 ~ March 26th, 2027 5:00 PM
* TWINS will be unavailable for access from April to May due to anticipated high traffic during course registration.
* Please note that TWINS may be temporarily unavailable during system maintenance periods.
* Login to TWINS is not possible outside the periods listed above. However, students can still check their grades online and request official transcripts outside these periods.
* Please refer to the academic calendar for the duration of each module.
