## Accommodation for Visitors

There is Global Guest House (Kasuga area complex) as the accommodation facility on Tsukuba Campus. Please read the precautions below before making your reservation.\

### Global Guest House (Kasuga area complex)

#### Person Eligible to Use the Facility

- Executive officers, faculty members, and employees of our university
- Researcher prescribed in Article 2 of the Research Acceptance Regulations of the University of Tsukuba (Corporation Regulations No. 53 of 2005)
- Researchers, etc. invited by our university
- Other persons concerned that have business with our university

#### Accommodation Facility

- Guest House (short-term accommodation facility for single persons): 22 rooms (including 1 wheelchair-accessible room)
- Monthly Guest House (Long-term accommodation facility for single persons): 28 rooms (including 2 wheelchair-accessible rooms)

#### Accommodation Reservation

1. Guest House
   The Global Guest House will accept reservations via Website and Phone.\

   - Website\
     Click the "Reserve Here" banner.\
     Applications for use of the guest house are accepted the end of the month after next and until 11:30 p.m. the day before check-in.\

     Reservation hours: From 13:30 to 17:30 (Excluding December 31 to January 2)\
     The application for the use of the Guest House is accepted from one month prior to the day of check in to 17:30 of the previous day.\

     If you intend to check in after 17:30, please note that reservations can only be accepted up to five days in advance, either via our website or by phone

   - If you have booked our guest house, please email the completed application form in advance to both the Housing Section of the Division of Facilities Management and the Guest House Manager, or fill it out upon check-in.

2. Monthly Guest house\
   ・Because submission of the application documents is required to use the Monthly Guest House, contact the Division of Facilities Management Office through your department.\

#### Method of Payment of the Accommodation Charge

- Guest House\

  ・The lodger should pay the charge for the number of nights at check-in or in advance.\
  　The payment method and payment deadline will vary depending on the scheduled check-in time.\
  For details, please refer to [Guest House Information](https://www.tsukuba.ac.jp/en/campuslife/welfare-facilities-accommodation/guest-house-info-en.pdf).\
  ・Payment can be made on-site by credit card or QR code, or by bank transfer for advance payment.

  - Monthly Guest house\

    ・The lodger should check the invoice distributed and pay it promptly by prescribed method.\
    ・Payment can be made by bank transfer, account transfer, credit card, or QR code payment.

    \* Receipts cannot be issued at the time of reception due to accounting procedures. \
    Please ask at the reception desk for a certificate of accommodation, which can be issued.\
    If you need a receipt, please contact the Division of Facilities Management Office. \
    However, please note that the issuance will be made two months after the month of payment.

    - Monthly Guest House (long-term accommodation facility): More than 1 month and within 1 year\

      Accommodation Rates: 5,500 yen per night\

      Remarks:

      - \*If you need bathrobes, bring one or you can rental for 300yen per piece.

      Accommodation Rates: 72,000 yen per month\
