The Akasaki Institute
The Akasaki Institute has been built to commemorate Distinguished Professor Isamu Akasaki’s research achievements and serve a broader society by promoting Nagoya University’s creative and advanced scientific and technological research.
Everyone can view the exhibits in the Exhibition Room on the 1st floor free of charge. The exhibits include a 160-inch LED display, traffic signals and cell phones using blue LED, and his other achievements and laboratory equipment.
