With the generous support of our government, donors and corporate partners, there are several scholarship opportunities available in Nagoya University. To recognize the outstanding achievements of students and support those who have financial needs, most scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit, financial needs and some also on other non-academic achievements. Roughly 10-15% of students receive a full scholarship, covering tuition and offering a small to moderate stipend. Scholarships are awarded to candidates after a holistic assessment, including academic merit, extracurricular engagements, and financial need.
