清华大学五道口金融学院前身是成立于1981年的中国人民银行研究生部（业界称为“五道口”）。由改革而兴学，为改革育人才，“五道口”精英云集，人才辈出，经过几代人的奋斗，享誉业界，2012年并入清华大学后更是得到了强大的教育资源支持，迎来了清华五道口崭新的发展阶段。

秉承清华大学培养具有国际视野的拔尖创新人才的育人理念，基于“建立立足本土、面向世界的金融MBA”的愿景，清华大学五道口金融学院与美国康奈尔大学约翰逊管理学院于2014年正式启动清华－康奈尔双学位金融MBA项目，并于2015年春季招收首期班学生。多年来，项目遵循金融MBA办学理念，紧跟学科发展前沿，倾力打造结合中外金融理论与实践优势的金融人才培育体系，培养立足中国市场、兼具国际视野、精通专业知识的复合型金融领军人才。

站在新的历史方位上，我们继续秉承“自强不息、厚德载物”的清华校训，弘扬“不怕苦，敢为先，讲团结，重贡献”的五道口传统，致力于向不断发展的中国金融事业输送更多的栋梁之才，为推动中国金融高质量发展贡献力量。

     The Cornell-Tsinghua Dual Degree Finance MBA program—a first-of-its-kind partnership between the SC Johnson College of Business at Cornell University and PBCSF at Tsinghua University—offers students a unique international finance opportunity.

We are the first top U.S. business school at an Ivy League University to offer a degree program in Chinese mainland. This two-year, part-time program conducted bilingually in English and Chinese (Mandarin) is designed for high-achieving MBA candidates who are prepared to lead across the breadth of the international finance industry. Our faculty are excited to experience the vitality of the Chinese economy and to better understand how U.S. and Chinese businesses can flourish.

Cornell University and the SC Johnson College of Business are honored to participate in this historic partnership and foresee the potential for strong growth. We look forward to strengthening our ties and carrying forward our two universities' outstanding traditions of innovative and responsible business education.
