【系综合学术报告】\ \ 报告题目：A counterexample to Nash's question on resolution of singularities\ \ 报告人：Daniel Duarte(National University of Mexico)\ \ 时间：2026年3月5日（周四） 上午10:30\ \ 地点：文北楼102 \ \ 摘要：The Nash blowup of an algebraic variety is a modification that replaces singular points by limits of tangent spaces. It was proposed to resolve singularities by iterating Nash blowups. Despite the numerous encouraging positive results to this question, the answer turned out to be false in general. In this talk we discuss a recent counterexample to Nash's question. This is a joint work with Federico Castillo, Maximiliano Leyton and Álvaro Liendo.\ \ 邀请人：左怀青
