介绍最新版《清华大学荐读书目》的编撰情况和选书初衷。目前书单里推荐的书大致分三类，第一类是中外思想文化经典；第二类是受到大众广泛欢迎的图书；第三类是一些文化艺术主题的著作，比如说中外文学经典。\

万俊人，清华大学首批文科资深教授，尼山世界儒学研究中心董事会董事、国际儒联理事，中华孔子学会副会长等职，《哲学研究》《哲学动态》《世界哲学》《中国社会科学评价》等杂志编委，浙江师范大学高等人文研究院、南京师范大学特聘教授，美国哈佛大学“哈佛-燕京学社”高级访问学者、“福布莱特”访问教授，英国剑桥大学人文科学艺术研究院（CRRASH）、荷兰阿姆斯特丹大学、日本东北大学访问教授，著有《现代西方伦理学史》（上下卷）《万俊人集》等23种，译著《道德语言》《政治自由主义》等22种，迄今在海内外中英文刊物上发表学术论文280余篇，另著有诗词集《悠斋清吟》等。
