Prof. Xi Zhang was honored with Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation Award

Prof. Xi Zhang was honored with Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation Award (2016) for his outstanding research achievements in supramolecular chemistry.

Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation Award was donated by four philanthropists in Hong Kong, China, which was aimed for commending Chinese outstanding scientists with their breakthroughs in different fields. Since its establishment, the award has enjoyed a high reputation for more than 20 years due to the fairness and authority.

Prof. Xi Zhang was recognized for the development of molecular engineering of functional supramolecular systems, including layer-by-Layer assembly strategy based on hydrogen bonding for the construction of functional multilayer films, supra-amphiphiles for controlled self-assembly and disassembly, controllable supramolecular polymerization based on host-enhanced noncovalent interactions and selenium-containing polymers as a kind of promising biomedical materials.
