International House for International Students

International House is a dedicated accommodation for international students and staff of Tohoku University. The application periods are: December to January if you wish to move in in April, and June to July if you wish to move in in October. Please submit the applications to your department’s Educational Affairs Section.

Married/family rooms are equipped with:
kitchen (gas stove, refrigerator, water heater), cupboard, dining table, wardrobe, bookshelf, study desk, chair, bed (bedding not provided), vacuum cleaner, washing machine, in-unit bathroom, air conditioner.\ WiFi Internet service can be obtained by signing at the administration office (Application fee: 3,300 yen, monthly fee: 3,410 yen).

This dormitory is somewhat far from campus, but students are allowed to stay there until they graduate.
