# 【Report】The first TUJP was held in person during the second semester of FY2025

The Global Learning Center (GLC) hosted four Tohoku University Japanese Programs (TUJPs)—short-term student exchange programs—in a face-to-face format during the second semester of FY2025.

● TUJP Baylor (May 26–June 3, 2025) welcomed five participants from Baylor University in the United States.

● TUJP Summer 1 (June 18–July 15, 2025) welcomed 38 participants from partner universities in Singapore, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Taiwan, Germany, Australia, Thailand, and Hong Kong.

● TUJP Sydney (July 1–July 18, 2025) welcomed 56 participants from the University of Sydney in Australia.

● TUJP Summer 2 (July 23–August 7, 2025) welcomed 58 participants from partner universities in China, Taiwan, the United States, Singapore, Hong Kong, Germany, Russia, Poland, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

Through lectures on Japanese language and culture, field trips, and interactions with both domestic and international students at Tohoku University, participants improved their Japanese language skills and deepened their understanding of Japan and Tohoku University.\
