If you want to do an internship a Japanese company, Japanese communication capability is almost always required.

＊The following procedures are also required for the above internships

Apply to the regional immigration office for permission to engage in an activity other than that permitted under the status of residence.

Comprehensive permit for up to 28 hours of work per week, individual permit for more than 28 hours of work per week.

For individual permission, you must obtain a certificate from the Dean of your graduate school.
