The auditorium is used for concerts, theatrical performances, talks and meetings. It is located at the end of Sendai's well known Jozenji avenue, with the Hirose River on the west side.

From JR Sendai Station

By subway -
:   10 minutes on foot from the Park 2 exit of Kotodai Koen station\

:   Take the bus bound for Kotsukyoku Daigakubyoin via Jozenji avenue and get off at Sendaishiminkaikan-mae
