World-class teaching and research
The Faculty of Arts delivers world-class education and research that makes a distinctive contribution, both nationally and globally.
Our work spans ancient, Indigenous and contemporary cultures, languages, law, media and communications, creative arts, and security and intelligence.
Facilities
The faculty is home to:
- five schools and one centre
- two university and nine faculty research centres
- The Gale History Museum at Macquarie University
- a range of facilities including: a media hub with state-of-the-art screen, dance, music and media studios
- 2SER-FM community radio station (in partnership with UTS)
- Adobe Digilab
- a world-class Arts Precinct.
