The Macquarie University Spinal Pain Research Centre is for researchers, clinicians, patients and healthcare policy makers who are committed to reducing the personal and societal burden of spinal pain.

Our mission is to conduct world-class research characterised by innovation and scientific rigour, with a focus on problems that are important to clinicians, patients and healthcare policy makers. Our research aims to:

- better understand the mechanisms underpinning spinal pain
- test the effectiveness of existing and novel interventions for spinal pain
- optimise the implementation of effective interventions into clinical practice.
