### About the centre
Since the centre’s establishment in 2019, we’ve secured over $40 million in research grants. These grants have enabled us to:
- sponsor over 120 research students (MRes and PhD) and postdoctorates, working closely under world-academic supervision
- help organisations put AI and data at the centre of their capabilities
- redefine the processes of creating, capturing and sharing value.

The long-term objectives of understanding AI and its applications are bold and ambitious, and we know that making significant progress in this field cannot be done in isolation.
