## A history in pictures

Explore our history through archival photos of the MAMP, MBA cohorts and the dynamic leadership that has shaped our institution over the years.

Established in 1969 as the Centre for Management Studies (CMS), Macquarie Business School has undergone a transformative journey, shaping the landscape of business education. Beginning with the introduction of a three-year, part-time Master of Business Administration Program (MBA) in 1972, the Centre for Management Studies quickly became a pioneer in comprehensive management education.

CMS initiated the Macquarie Advanced Management Program (MAMP) in 1975, gaining distinction as the longest executive education (non-award) program of its time.

In 1980, Macquarie University's Applied Finance Centre (MAFC) was established and only a few years later, CMS developed its own identity as the Macquarie Graduate School of Management (MGSM). In 2019, the merger of MGSM and MAFC united these entities and fortified its position as a formidable force in business education.

Today, Macquarie Business School stands as a testament to continuous growth, global impact and a legacy of leadership.
