Road to Research Scholarship

The Road to Research Scholarship is for onshore applicants who are eligible to commence the Macquarie Master of Research (MRes) in Sydney, Australia in Session 2 2026.

This scholarship supports students undertaking short research projects of the Master of Research (MRes).

The Macquarie Master of Research provides thorough research-relevant training for candidates interested in shorter research projects or pursuing a research career.

Current Macquarie postgraduate coursework students completing their degrees in Session 1 2026 are encouraged to apply.

Online applications for a July 2026 commencement (Session 2 2026) will close on 30 April 2026 (AEST).

We encourage you to submit your application as early as possible before the deadline.

Outcomes will be issued in June 2026. If you do not receive an outcome notification by mid-June 2026, please consider your application as unsuccessful.
